Driven by Technology, Thriving for Shared Prosperity: Students from Zhongliang University Conduct Social Practice Research in Xinchang

China Education Online, Zhejiang Station reported (Reporter Bai Jingjie, Correspondent Wang Yajun) that General Secretary Xi Jinping stated, “Common prosperity itself is an important goal of socialist modernization.” The national "14th Five-Year Plan" and the 2035 Vision Outline aims to support high-quality development in Zhejiang and the establishment of a common prosperity demonstration zone. To gain a deeper understanding of the successful practices in Xiangcheng County, Zhejiang Province, particularly in leveraging technological innovation for common prosperity, a team from China Jiliang University explored various organizations at the end of July 2023. They visited the Xiangcheng Science and Technology Bureau, Xiangcheng Intelligent Equipment Town, Shaoxing Kangjian Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Bolait Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Xinbao Automotive Electrical Co., Ltd., Xiangcheng Rifeng Textile Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Wuzhou Xinchun Group. Through field visits, in-depth interviews, and surveys, they aimed to comprehensively understand the concepts of "the people's well-off dream," "enterprise wealth generation," and "regional equality strategies."

In Xinchang Intelligent Technology Town, team members gained a comprehensive understanding of the development journey of Xinchang County in recent years regarding technology and innovation. Xinchang has transformed from a small county into an "innovative county" that integrates innovation, sustainability, and win-win cooperation—striving towards common prosperity like waves in a great river. It serves as a typical demonstration of a county boldly forging a path to shared prosperity through the combination of technology and innovation.

During their research on various innovative enterprises, the team recognized on multiple levels that "innovation shapes the future" and "innovation is the primary driving force for development." Shaoxing Kangjian Materials Co., Ltd. focuses on the research of "green materials" and has successfully achieved waste resource recycling; Zhejiang Bolet Refrigeration Co., Ltd. upholds a spirit of craftsmanship, with advanced equipment, bold innovative ideas, and a serious and pragmatic production model that has established the company as a leader in the industry; Zhejiang Xinbao Automotive Electrical Co., Ltd. collaborates with academia and industry to inject fresh ideas into enterprise innovation, bringing new technologies to the entire industrial chain; Wuzhou Xinchun Group has successfully transformed and upgraded through technological innovation, enhancing public service levels and convenience with updated digital management and service models, thereby stimulating the development of the surrounding economy.

After practical research, team member Jiang Tao gained significant insights, stating, "I believe all these enterprises are doing one thing: applying technological innovation to the development of people's livelihoods, contributing to the realization of common prosperity. At the same time, I have also clarified my learning goals in my field of study, which is to continuously enhance my technological innovation capabilities and strive to become a new talent needed by the nation in this era!"
